Your goal is within sight. This plan projects NGN 770,000, leaving a NGN 230,000 gap to your NGN 1,000,000 target. Consider increasing contributions or extending the timeline.

These figures are estimates, not guaranteed investment returns or personalized financial advice. Any growth rate you enter is hypothetical.

The method

How the savings calculator works

Enter your starting savings, how much you plan to add, how frequently you can contribute and how long you want to save. Your projected balance includes your own contributions plus any hypothetical growth you choose.

For a simple savings target, keep growth at 0%. That shows what you could save without relying on uncertain returns.

Weekly saving uses 52 periods a year. Monthly saving uses 12. When the growth rate is above zero, the balance grows at the end of each period, and then the contribution is added. The period rate is the annual growth rate divided by the number of periods in a year.

Balance = previous balance × (1 + period rate) + contribution

Hypothetical growth is the projected total minus what you put in. Fees, taxes, and investment risk are not included, and a growth rate is an illustration, not a forecast.
